We were all surprised this past week when it was announced that Senegalese forward Sadio Mane had been sold by Liverpool to German giants Bayern Munich. The reason for Mane leaving was his demand for a higher salary which he deserved after leading the England club to glory for the past three years. After Liverpool agreed to raise Salah's salary yesterday,it is now clear they just did not think Mane was that good for a raise.
We all know he is hurt by this and his only mission now and way to find retribution is by proving Liverpool wrong and that they made a mistake by letting him leave. He can only do this by scoring more goals, providing more assists and winning more trophies for new club Bayern. Not only does he have to be successful at Liverpool but also with the Senegal national team.Success with the team especially at the upcoming world cup tournament will be the last nail to the coffin for Liverpool.
