Some years back he guided Stars to book a ticket in the presitigious African Cup of Nations in Cairo Egypt. Olunga never disappointed in that tournament as he grabbed a brace against Tanzania's Taifa Stars in a heavily contested match in Group C.
Olunga plays abroad for Qatar League champions Al Duhail SC. He joined the club this year and he has played in many matches scoring goals freely. Recently in the Asian Champions League he scored six goals in just five matches.
When he was playing in the Japanese League for Kashiwa Reysol Olunga topped the scoring chart in a single season. He ended up winning the golden boot and the Most Valuable Player awards.
In my view he deserves to be on this list considering how he has been performing currently. He is among the top class striker in Africa.
