Chelsea qualified into the semi finals of FA cup yesterday after beating Middlesbrough by 2 goals to nil. They were joined later by Crystal Palace who mercilessly demolishing sorry Everton by 4 goals to nil. Manchester city joined the shortly after an emphatic win over southampton at Saint Mary's stadium. Raheem Sterling, Kelvin De Bryune, Phil Foden and Mahrez's goals made sure the citizens were comfortably through into the semi finals despite Aymeric Laporte's own goal giving Southampton hope of a comeback.
Chelsea have drawn Everton tormenters Crystal Palace while Manchester City will play the winner of the match between Nottingham Forest and Liverpool. The semi-final matches will be played on Saturday 16th April and Sunday 17th April 2022.
Crystal Palace is in great form but drawing them raises the probability of their opponents going through into the finals. Liverpool and Manchester City are without no doubt stronger than Crystal Palace and drawing any one of them would have lowered their probability of making it into the final. The semi finals shall be held at England national stadium Wembley. Guardiola and Klopp might meet for the 3rd time this season.
