Mc Donald Wanyam Mariga is was a Kenyan professional footballer who in his time was among the most fearful footballers on the pitch. Mariga retired from international football before retiring from professional football. He is the only Kenyan footballer who made a step to join active politics after retiring from football.
After the death of Kibra MP, the late Hon Okoth, Mariga contested for Kibra MP in the by-elections on the Jubilee ticket. He lost to ODM candidate Imram Okoth who is the brother to the late MP. While campaigning, a KCSE certificate for the professional Kenyan footballer leaked on social media.
The KCSE certificate which bared his name shows how he performed in each subject in the national examinations. Mariga managed to score a mean grade of D minus in the national exam. He did not good in Mathematics as he had a mean grade of E. The Kenyan superstar did well in Commerce and Kiswahili which he scored grade of C minus and D+ respectively.
Here is the original KCSE of McDonald Mariga
