BRAZIL VS COLOMBIA.
Brazil have made a flawless start to their 2021 Copa America campaign and Tite’s side can secure top spot in Group A with a comfortable victory against Colombia in Rio de Janeiro.
The tournament favourites have consummately dispatched Venezuela (3-0) and Peru (4-0) in their opening two matches and those results mean Brazil have now won their last six competitive internationals without conceding a goal.
They’ve found the net at least twice in all but one of those starts, so it’s easy to see why they’re solid odds-on shots to beat an ageing Colombia outfit who were beaten 1-2 by Peru at the weekend.
A 1-0 win over Ecuador and goalless stalemate with Venezuela in their opening two games mean Tricolor have all but sealed their progress to the last eight of the competition, and in essence this tie at Estadio Nilton Santos can be classed as a bit of a free hit for Reinaldo Rueda’s men.
Nonetheless, their inefficiency in front of goal and tendency to tire late in games suggests they’re unlikely to land many punches on the talented and rapidly improving hosts.
We’re backing Brazil to seal another win and clean sheet at a canter in Rio and 2-0 is our correct score prediction.
Prediction:Brazil to win.
BRAGANTINO VS PALMEIRAS.
The two teams face each other today in the league match. The hosts have conceded an average of 1.41 goals while the visitors have conceded an average of 1.52 goals.
Prediction:Both teams to score.
