Manchester City's signing of Erling Haaland for only £51 million (a signing that rises to £136 million due to his signing package) is bad news for City's Premier League rivals, but it is a chance for Arsenal to sign one of Man City's attackers, Gabriel Jesus.
According to HITC, Arsenal has already prepared a £43 million offer to persuade Man City to let Jesus join the club.
According to the report, this offer may be sufficient to sign Jesus. However, with the add-ons in his signing package, Arsenal may eventually have to pay the same amount City is paying for Haaland.
The HITC claim,
"And UOL in South America claim that Arsenal signing Gabriel Jesus could set Stan Kroenke back a similar amount (as the one City are paying for Haaland) at the Emirates."
The report adds that the Gunners are favourites to sign him because of Edu’s relationship with the marksman. Edu had been Brazil’s technical director prior to coming to the Premier League in 2019."
You may be wondering if a move for Jesus is worthwhile at this point.
Yes, Jesus could add another dimension to Arsenal's attack. He is young but experienced, and he has a winning attitude. With the World Cup approaching, he may be eager to get started at Arsenal. (HITC)
