The Euros have been rocked by the devastating news of Christian Eriksen's collapse. The Inter Milan star collapsed in the 43rd minute of the match between Denmark and Finland. This shocking incident led to the suspension of the match which has been rescheduled for tonight at 10.
Eriksen has also been confirmed to be doing well and is able to breath and speak. However, all that would maybe not have been possible had it not been for the timely Intervention of the medics and players.
One player who did more than enough and has been Lauded for his heroism and quick thinking is AC Milan Star Simon Kjaer. When Eriksen collapsed, Kjaer rushed to his side and prevented him from swallowing his tongue. He also placed him in a recovery position so as to ease his breathing. Kjaer also started CPR before the medics arrived and took over.
This scene was unbearable and devastating for Eriksen's wife who was on the stands. On seeing this, Kjaer rushed to her side and consoled her easing her worry.
He has been Lauded and we also celebrate his action. He is our man of the match.
