Why Romelu Lukaku Might Fail To Win The Premier League Golden Boot

Romelu Lukaku is one of the best forwards in the Premier League this season who is expected to have a big season ahead. The Chelsea star player has been amazing since he joined the Blues and has scored three Premier League goals in three games he has played this season.

Lukaku is among the players with the best chance of winning the Premier League golden boot but it won't be easy considering how the league has some brilliant goal scorers. The 28-year-old goal scorer managed to find the back of the net 24 times last season at Inter Milan losing the golden boot to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Being consistent in the Premier League is very difficult but Lukaku is one of the few players who joined the league and won't struggle. However, he has scored most goals for Chelsea this season but fails to be the Premier League golden due to tough competition from other great forwards.

Players like Mohamed Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo are looking so good this season and beating them to the top award will be difficult. Salah has scored four goals after making five appearances this season and has broken a couple of records already.

He has been a consistent goal scorer for Jurgen Klopp since he rejoined the Premier League in 2017. He has been an integral part of his scored and has won two golden boots already and he came close to winning his third last season.

Manchester United skipper Cristiano Ronaldo has already had also been terrific despite playing in only two Premier League games this season but has scored 3 goals. He was the Serie A golden boot last season with an average midfielder in Juventus.

At Old Trafford, there are Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba while there are creative wingers like Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford who will provide the Portuguese will great passes and crosses. Ronaldo and Salah have the best chance of winning the golden boot compared to Romelu Lukaku.
