Manchester United confirmed good news today as their star player confirmed signed a new two years deal at the club.
Previous news reports claimed that Eric Bailly was frustrated with his lack of game time at the club and wanted assurance that he will play or else he will leave.
After completing the contract signing, several speculations stated that Bailly hesitated a bit before he committed his future at Manchester United.
Speaking on Manchester United official website, Eric Bailly stated: "I'm very happy. This decision is something I didn’t have to think about, I love this club and I love playing for Manchester United.
I’m happy and so are my family, everything is good. Now the moment with my injury has passed and I’m fit and feel good, and that’s it. A new contract is like a new challenge and I’m ready for this."
Indeed this is the right decision made by Eric Bailly as the speculations could have hindered his performances at the club as he is a top defender could be depended by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Did he make the right decision?
