Confirmed: Manchester United CEO Set To Quit At The End Of January, Club Confirms

Manchester United executive director Ed Woodward is set to step down and leave his role at the club at the end of January. Woodward joined Manchester United in 2005, he later went on to become the club's executive vice chairman in 2012 and since then he has been at the role until recently when the club made the big announcement of him quitting his role.

Woodward's turmoils at the club began mid lats year after a disagreement with the club's hierarchy over joining the then Super League. From the time of the disagreement, the club later announced his departure. Woodward is set to leave the club officially at the end of this month. Richard Arnold has also been officially announced as the person to take over as the club's CEO effectively from this month.

Arnold is set to work on majorly building the club being that he is the new CEO after taking the role of Ed Woodward. The announcement has been made by the club through their social media platforms making it official and latest announcement by the club.
