Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Caretaker Committee has suspended all football activities across the country with immediate effect.
Justice Aaron Ringera-led the caretaker committee, through a press statement, released Friday, November 12, stated that all top-tier football activities will be suspended with immediate effect.
This follows a deliberation made by the committee after their appointment into office by Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Amina Mohamed.
The decision is part of the clean-up exercise to streamline activities at the scandals-ridden FKF that was disbanded on Thursday, November 11.
The Committee is expected to engage with the clubs and other football stakeholders before making further recommendations.
However, leagues running under the branches and sub branches will continue as normal.
"We wish to reassure all lovers of Kenyan football that the committee will ensure smooth operations of all football activities across the country and beyond," the committee noted.
