Man United Receive Forward Blow

Marcus Rashford will play no part in England’s forthcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Rashford reported to St. George’s Park with an injury and, following further assessment, it has been decided he will continue his rehabilitation with Manchester United. The FA has confirmed.

The Englishman joined up with the England squad out of a desire to be in and around the England set up. He expressed a desire to partake in team meetings and reconnect with England teammates, the Athletic had earlier reported.

The young forward has been absent in Manchester United's past two matches against AC Milan and Leicester City. He is also expected to play no part in the away trip to Brighton this weekend.

Radford's absence is a big blow to United since Antony Martial is also injured. However, the Red Devils forward line has been misfiring despite reaching double figures last season. But would be boosted by the return of Edinson Cavani.
