Former Chelsea star Diego Costa has been linked with a shock move to Arsenal this January with the Gunners optimistic of signing the player soon. This comes after the star terminated his contract with Brazilian club Atletico Miniero. Taking to his Instagram page, the former Atletico Madrid Star wrote a touching message to bid farewell to the club.
However, despite Arsenal's possibly of signing the player, the Gunners are receiving competition from other top clubs including Brazilian clubs. Sao Paulo, Cadiz and Corinthians FC are the latest clubs to show interest in signing the player. Arsenal still remain the favourites to sign the player despite tough competition from other clubs.
The Gunners are looking to sign a striker in the current January transfer window and Diego Costa would be one of the best options for the Gunners. Costa is currently a free agent after terminating his contract with Atletico Miniero.
