Born in Cameroon, but playing for Switzerland, Breel Embolo has received applause for scoring a goal for his team. It was the only one that Switzerland used to beat Cameroon. Cameroon coach Rigobert Song has sent powerful message to Embolo after he scored against his country of birth and refused to celebrate.
As Standard Digital reports, Song was very proud of the 25 year old Embolo. That he wished that he was on his side but unfortunately, that was not possible. That he is very happy for him since he is his younger brother. That they usually speak on phone several times. Embolo got the passport to travel to the adopted country at the age of 17.
After the match, Song was seen speaking to Embolo and when he was asked what he was telling him, he said that he had seen that Embolo had played a fantastic game and he had to tell him. At after the end of it all, they belong to the same country and they are brothers.
