Current Premier League Table After All Sunday and Saturday Games Were Played

Liverpool were stunned at Anfield 2-2 by arch-rivals Manchester City to drop two vital points in the Premier League title race. Following a goalless first half draw, Liverpool opened the scores through Sadio Mane who was assisted by Mohamed Salah before Phil Foden combined with Gabriel Jesus to equalize for the visitors. Liverpool scored their second goal in the 76th minute through Mohamed Salah before Kelvin De Bryune equalized for Man City in the 81st minute to force a 2-2 draw on Sunday. After the 2-2 draw, Liverpool climbed up to position 2 in the Premier League table with 15 points while Manchester City moved to position 3 with 14 points. Tottenham saw off Aston Villa 2-1 on Sunday to move up to position 8 with 12 points while Brentford thrashed Westham 2-1 to climb up to position 7 in the EPL table with 12 points.

Chelsea demolished Southampton 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday to climb up to the top of the Premier League table with 16 points. Manchester United were surprisingly held by Everton 1-1 at Old Trafford to drop 2 points on Saturday and move to position 4 with 14 points. Arsenal were forced into a goalless draw by Brighton at Amex Stadium on Saturday to move to position 11 in the Premier League table with 10 points.
