Erik Ten Hag has once again made it clear that he has no regrets about letting Ronaldo leave in the summer. He further added that in fact, he feels that the club has grown exponentially since the egoistic striker left the club to join Al Nassr in the winter. The players at the club are finally getting the rhythm that he wants to exist in the squad.
“I have no problem with the decision I made. There were genuine reasons why I had to let him leave the club eventually. There are certain rules that I want followed at the club and if they are not followed, then I am not happy at all. The other players have benefited a lot from the rules so I don’t see any problem with the decision I made to freeze him out,” said Erik Ten Hag.

Jadon Sancho is expected to inherit the #7 jersey next season. There are a number of players who have been eying the shirt number but Sancho currently stands out as the front runner. Erik Ten Hag is hoping that giving Sancho that privilege will boost his confidence next season and possibly push him to emulate his BVB form.

As for Rashford, the sky is the limit for him this season. The striker has been scoring goals and making them like they are running out fashion. He currently has 32 goal involvements in all competitions which ranks him high among the most elite in Europe. For that, he stands a big chance at being in the top 10 of the Ballon D’or rankings this year.

Antony is also another Ballon D’or contender but not for this year. The player has the potential of being a winner of the coveted award but he is still miles off from fully settling in at the Premier League. Unlike at Ajax, the Premier League is very physical and tactical. That has so far proven to be a difficult hurdle for the player to overcome.
