Liverpool FC have signed Netherlands midfielder Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven for £37 million plus add-ons that could make the deal go upto £50 million.Gakpo has been outstanding for PSV as well as his national team at the world cup.
Liverpool FC have been a surprise package for Gakpo who was heavily linked to a move to Manchester United. Top Premier league clubs have been looking for his signature and Liverpool FC did everything possible to lure him to Anfield. The attacking options for Jurgen Klopp have been minimal due to injuries. However, the arrival of Cody will ease the burden of Mohamed Salah. We wish him all the best in the Premier league.
