World football governing body (FIFA) has summoned some KenyaPremier League (KPL) players and KPL officials for prob on match fixing allegations.
Kenya Premier League players have been on the spot since 2019 after Nation TV revealed how match fixing has been happening in the Kenya Premier League.
Recently some Kenya Premier League players were suspended by FIFA for Match fixing, the four players who played for Kakamega Home Boyz were given a four year ban on all football activities, they include, Moses Chikati, Festus Omukoto a3Festus Okiring. A Ugandan player who played in the Kenyan Premier League was also given a lifetime ban in all football activities, his name us George Mandela.
FIFA has summoned some top KPL players for match manipulation from next week. Among those who were summon are Zoo Kericho coach Herman Isekhwa, former Coach Sammy Okoth and Zoo Kericho owner Ken Ochieng.
Zoo Kericho's former players Sammy Sindani, Martin Elungat, Johnstone Ligare and Vincent Misikhu are among the players who have been Summoned by FIFA.
