A goal from Mohammed Magdy ensured Egypt qualified with Comoros in Group G while Togo and Kenya slumped out of the Africa Cup Of Nations qualifiers. Abdallah Hassan scored the goal that ensured the match ended a draw. Kenya was under pressure after Comoros drew with Togo.

Hassan's goal came in the 67th minute when he went past El-Shenawy under a crowded penalty area, Kenya won a corner that was delivered by Abuya and Olunga's shot was blocked before the ball landed in Hassan's path.
As Group G table stands, Egypt leads with 9pts, Comoros follows with 9pts with a goal difference down to Egypt. Whereas Kenya sits third with 4pts and Togo last with 2pts.
Meanwhile, in other results across Africa, South Africa drew with Ghana with each team sharing a single goal, Gabon defeated the Democratic Republic of Congo three goals to zero, and the Gambia defeated Angola by one goal to zero.
