Mykhailo Mudryk's transfer to Arsenal is getting closer by the day. However, once he signs the reported "expensive deal", one might wonder if Arteta will be able to make additional signings this winter. He appears to be planning to do so.

According to Pucella News, as cited by Football London, Arteta wants Real Valladolid's Ivan Frasneda as his second major signing this month, following Mudryk. Fresneda wants the transfer, and it appears that Arsenal has told him to be patient because it will happen.

"Fresneda wants Arsenal, and Arsenal asks for patience that Mudryk goes first. The operation may be delayed until at least the 18th as pointed out from Italy a few days ago," tweeted Pucella News.

Due to injuries to Cedric Soares (at the start of the season) and Tomiyasu's on-and-off injuries, Arteta has chosen to use Ben White at left-back this season. White has excelled, but he is not their long-term solution; at 18 years old, Fresneda has the potential to be the right-back Arteta builds his right wing around for many years.
