The summer transfer window is here and teams are really working on improving their squads in preparation for the next season. Having already signed Sadio Mane from Liverpool, Bayern Munich has finally decided to let their key striker Robert Lewandoski to leave the club and find a new challenge elsewhere.
Reports showed that Lewandoski already told the club that he wants to leave. Two clubs i.e Barcelona and Chelsea have been considered favourites of signing the legendary striker. However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Lewandoski will sign the contract in the next 24 hours in order to become new Barcelona player.
Romano says that the deal will be valid until June 2025 with an option to further extend it. Barcelona coach Xavi has been in contact with the agent of Lewandoski for months now and discussions are in final stages. We are waiting for the final announcement from the two clubs.
