The World Cup tournament will start in June and so far several countries have qualified to face off in Qutar. However, President Uhuru Kenyatta has been presented with the World Cup trophy at the statehouse by legendary Brazilian footballer Juliano Belleti and Kenyans will have a chance to see the trophy at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) from tomorrow. President Uhuru Kenyatta was allowed to touch the trophy alone and was also given a sample of the trophy.
The trophy will be taken across all the 52 countries in Africa before the tournament started in late next month. Many footballs in the country are waiting eagerly for the tournament to start. President Uhuru Kenyatta declared that it is an honor for FIFA to consider our country to receive the trophy and also urge the Harambee stars team to work smart to ensure that they participate in the next tournament.
