The Afcon tournament is still underway in Cameroon. The tournament have seen the fans witness the best African footballers in their countries while others are the best world football players battling out for the trophy.
The tournament began 9th January 2022, we have witnessed teams show their best football skills. So far, four teams have shown skillful defence. The teams have conceded the least number of goals, prompting the ranking to the best defence.
Tunisia national team has shown best defensive skills. They have played has so far conceded one goal against Mali. This makes them to be ranked as the team with the best defence.
Nigeria national team has also secured a place in the rank. They have also conceded one goal in the tournament. They won 3-1 against Sudan. That is the only goal they have conceded so far.
Mali national team have also conceded one goal in their clash against Gambia in which the teams draw of 1-1. Mali have also succeeded to be finalists in the tournament two times.
Guinea Bissau national team are third placed in their group D. Despite their position in the group, they have conceded only one goal. The team is among the teams with the best defence in AFCON.
