Manager of This Team in Europa League Resigns

Dynamo Zagreb, the opponents of Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League, manager has resigned amid corruption charges that have seen his five year prison sentence confirmed. Morinho's side won 2 nil in the first leg of the tie and now Spurs travel to Croatia this Thursday for the return match.

Mamic, the manager, has resigned after being jailed for five years on corruption charges alongside his brother who was the executive director at the time when the crime happened. Zoran Mamic stepped down immediately the decision was affirmed by the Supreme Court of Croatia.

"Despite not feeling guilty, I resign because I said that that is what I would do if the decision was upheld by the court." Mamic said in a statement to the press. Damir Krzanar, a former player of the team, takes over from Mamic.
