Premeir league giants Arsenal have finally confirmed the signature of highly rated centre back Ben White from Brighton for £50m. The 23 year old has put pen to paper on a 5 year contract with the gunners which will run until June 2026 and he will wear the Number 4 Jersey next season.
Ben White becomes Arsenal's third summer signing, following the arrival of left back Nuno Tavares and Midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga from Benfica and Anderlecht respectively as Manager Mikel Arteta is Keen on reinforcing his squad ahead of next season.
The Three Lions defender will be a great addition to the Mikel Arteta's side, considering he can play in a back three, back four and as a defensive Midfielder and hence would fit perfectly in Mikel Arteta's style of play.
White impressed during his loan spell at Leeds in 2019/2020, as he helped them to gain promotion from the championship to the top flight and also has experience in the English top flight having made 38 appearances for Brighton in the Premeir league last season, helping them to a solid 16th place finish.
