Johanna Omollo Raises Kenyan Flag High in Turkish League

Johanna Omollo is a Kenyan professional footballer. He has been playing for Harambee Stars in many matches. He was in the squad that qualified for the prestigious African Cup of Nations in Cairo Egypt two years ago.

Omollo who plays abroad for Kocaelispor in Turkish League has missed a call up to the national team in the last two world cup qualification matches against Uganda Cranes and Rwanda. Again Harambee Stars' new coach Engine Firat left him out after he named the team that will face Mali in Morocco this week.

Yesternight, his team hosted Instanbulspor in a heavily contested match. Kocaelispor won the match by two goals to one. Left-footed South African striker Dino Ndlovu grabbed the brace after a fine combination from Omollo mostly in the second half.

The win pushed Kocaelispor to seventh on the table standings with 13 points from seven matches.

Kindly drop your perceptions on this sensational midfielder.
