The Gunners could complete the signing of the starlet in the summer. The 19-year-old has made 16 appearances for the Brazilian outfit, playing in a central or defensive midfield role. He’s netted three goals and registered one assist in those outings. His performances have made him the latest promising South American starlet to attract interest from Europe, just like his namesake Gabriel, who moved to the Emirates in 2019.

The north London club are one of those who have been impressed with his progress as a young prospect in South America. Edu has sanctioned his move to the Emirates to play alongside Thomas Partey. His versatility is best suit for him at the club.
