Good News For Gor Mahia And AFC Leopards As They Secure A Sponsorship Deal Worth Millions

The two big clubs of Kenya, Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards are set to get a big shot in the arm after reports have emerged that they have gotten a new sponsor.

The unveiling ceremony would be held on Thursday with Gor Mahia expected to get 70 million per year with ingwe getting 65 million a year.

The new sponsor will also pay the staff and the players in the new deal. The two most successful football clubs in Kenya have now found another sponsor, weeks after Besafe company withdrew.

These two clubs have been struggling financially in the past few years, and this has affected their performance a great deal.

The figures of the new sponsor are an improvement from the deal that Betsafe was offering. The Kenya football ex-pert Kevin Teya has also reported that the company will also pay the players directly in a bid to avert go-slows and player strikes.

A ceremony will be held on Thursday this week to unveil the sponsor. Gor Mahia managed to finish 3rd in the just finished Kenyan League while AFC Leopards finished 6th with 49 points.
