Chelsea lost their third match of the season as they were beaten 3:0 by a determined Leeds side. However, it is some individual errors that led to some of the goals. In the first goal, it was goalkeeper Edouard Mendy who gifted Leeds an easy goal. He overstayed with the ball before the goal only for Leeds United's Aaronson to intercept and score.
Rodrigo Goes scored the second goal while Jack Harrison scored the second goal. There are other players who also didn't do their part as effectively. Ruben Loftus Cheek was brought in for injured Ngolo Kante. He however produced a lackluster performance and didn't take his chances well. Was quite poor defensively.
Kai Havertz did very little as a forward. More is expected of him despite playing as a false nine, but then he has not been able to do justice to the position. Kalidou Koulibaly was redcarded in the match towards the end. What a day to forget for the blues!
