5 Players Manchester United Need to Sign when the Transfer Window Opens to Compete for Titles

Manchester United Football Club is one of the best clubs in history because of its beautiful football and long history. They have won the English Premier League a record 20 times, and they have three Champions Leagues to their name, which is a lot.

Because Sir Alex Ferguson left the club in 2013, they have lost a little bit of who they are. In the place of Sir Alex, the club has hired several managers. All of them have failed miserably, with only Jose Mourinho coming close to making the club a little bit better,

The club is having one of the worst seasons in its history, and they have hired the first team coach from Ajax, Erik Ten Hag. He will be taking over at the end of the season.

During Erik's time as manager, some players will be leaving the club to make room for the rebuilding process. When the players leave, they will be replaced by some new players to get the club back up and running again.

This is a list of the five players Manchester United needs to sign when the transfer window opens up.

1. Declan Rice

As a defensive midfielder for West Ham United, he has shown over the years that he is one of the best at what he does. Manchester United doesn't have a good defensive midfielder right now, and Declan Rice would be a great addition for the reds to get.

2. Jules Kounde

Jules Kounde is a great defender, and he hasn't made a mistake that led to a goal since he first played for Sevilla. When Raphael Varane and Raphael Varane play together at the back, the Frenchman will be a great teammate for them both.

3. Darwin Nunez

The Benfica forward Darwin Nunez is a great striker and has already scored goals. The departure of Edinson Cavani means that United needs to bring in Nunez so that he can fill in the void left by Cavani.

4. Raphinha

Manchester United have been having a hard time attacking from the right side since Daniel James left. Leeds Playmaker, Raphinha, will be a great fit for that role.

5. Christopher Nkunku

As a player, Christopher Nkunku has been on fire this season in the Bundesliga. He has been firing from all cylinders and scoring goals for fun! I think Manchester United will be very happy if they sign him.
