Good News as Eliud Kipchoge is Nominated for Coveted International Award

Two times Olympic world marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge has been nominated for a coveted international award.

The award which is administered yearly for athletes has listed the name of Eliud Kipchoge as among the contestants.

"#WorldAthleticsAwards announcement! @EliudKipchoge is nominated for Male World Athlete of the Year 2021. Retweet to vote for him," World Athletics tweeted.

Other notable names nominated for the male athlete of the year is Uganda's Gold medalist and long=distance runner Joshua Cheptegei.

Kipchoge will battle out with other athletes from different continents and he is poised to win.

Eliud Kipchoge just broke the world record by winning the Tokyo Olympics for the record second time. He has also made a record by running the Ineos challenge which saw him finish 42KM under two hours.
