World marathon runner and the defending champions of Tokyo Olympics Eliud Kipchoge who is thirty seven years old has come out publicly to tell Kenyans about his special diet that keeps him in good shape.The marathon runner said that athletics unlike any other sports require special diet so that you remain fit and healthy for the races.
Mr Eliud Kipchoge who is widely known for his humility despite the fact that he pockets millions every time he repressents the country said that he has to be very keen on the meals he takes.He said that some meals were full of colestrols and that their consumption would only leave him gasping for air while running.
One of his special diets includes rice and beans which he says has really helped him especially after running for long distances hence he has lost a lot of energy which needs to be replenished.He also said that he majors more on vegetables and carbohydrates to provide him with the required energy boast.
