A good number of Harambee stars players have been turning out for their respective clubs and this weekend is no different. The ones in Europe had different outcomes, for example Eric Marcelo Ouma who plays for AIK in Sweden. The Kenyan defender has been outstanding for his club.
Ouma has been providing assists to his teammates , he even scored an amazing goal some weeks ago in a convincing win by AIK. They faced Djurgarden at home in a a match that proved to be a tough one. Marcelo's team beat the visitors by one goal. Djurgaden was once home to Kenyan striker Michael Olunga.
Olunga joined the Swedish top tier side from Kenyan giants Gor Mahia after a stellar season where he won the most valuable player of the season. Away from that, Marcelo was impressive for his club as he led the defense to keep a clean sheet. His performances come perfectly at a time where Harambee Stars are set to lock horns with Mali in the World Cup Qualifiers this month.
The 24 year old full back is good both at defense and attack, this is evident from his fast runs along the flanks. This makes him a key player for both club and country.
