Arsenal are considering bringing Liverpool Star Alex Oxlade Chamberlain back to Emirates. This comes after the player failed to come in terms with Liverpool as he mostly spends time on the bench for the Reds. Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta is considering bringing him to Emirates in the January transfer window.
The 28 year old English midfielder left Arsenal in 2017 to join Liverpool, while at the Merseyside Reds, the player has gone ahead to win several trophies with the club. However, he has been left out of the main squad and has only made less appearances for Liverpool since the season began. Chamberlain is currently weighing on a return to Arsenal with the Gunners optimistic of completing the transfer in the winter transfer window.
However, Chamberlain's contract at Liverpool is set to end in the summer of 2023 with the player now wanting a fresh challenge away from Liverpool. Arsenal are currently looking to signing him on an initial loan before opting for permanent deal after the end of the 2021/22 season.
