Gor Mahia, number one fan favorite kenyan team were stunned by Western Stima on Saturday, as goals from Rodgers and a spot kick from Karamor saw their chances of topping the table down the drain when they lost 2-1 to the visitors.
Kenya Commercial Bank also failed to topple Tusker FC from the top spot after a barren draw with Kakamega Homeboyz on Sunday. The draw left KCB on the second spot with 43 points just one point behind league leaders Tusker FC.
Tusker FC are still leading the table with 44 points from 21 matches played having scored 35 goals and conceded just 17 goals. Vihiga United and Mathare United occupy 16th and 17th positions respectfully with Vihiga United having a total of 15 points , 1 point behind Western Stima who are 15th.
AFC Leopards are 3rd with 40 points , 2 points above their mashemeji Gor Mahia who are 4th with 38 points. Nairobi City are fifth with 32 points , Bandari 6th with 31 points and Kariobangi Sharks who are level on points with Bandari are following on 7th.
