Leicester City defeated Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor on Tuesday night. The first half of the match ended in a goalless draw, with both sides falling to find the back of the net after several attempts from the two teams.

During second-half James Maddison scored first goal for Leicester in 82 minutes and the returning of Jamie Vardy gave them second goal in 90 minutes victory over a Burnley side.
Burnley missed the chance to move out of the Premier League relegation show as a Leicester late show condemned the Clarets to defeat. Leicester had dominated the majority of the match but were four times denied by an inspired Nick Pope.

Leicester's first Premier League win of 2022 moves them up to 12th on 30 points. A draw would have lifted Burnley above Everton, but they remain in 18th, a point from safety.
