As they battled hard to defeat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium today, Liverpool FC got back on the winning track in the Premier League. Using a ball from Darwin Nunez, Mohamed Salah scored the game's first goal in the 11th minute. By lobbing the ball past Hugo Lloris and into the goal in the 40th minute, he scored his second goal before the halftime.
Following numerous unsuccessful tries, Harry Kane of England scored Tottenham Hotspur's first goal in the 70th minute off a feed from Dejan Kulusevski. Liverpool finally won the game 2-1, collecting all three points with them.

As they close the distance with Chelsea, who are now in seventh place, Liverpool improves their position at the eighth spot with 19 points, while Tottenham Hotspur falls to fourth place with 26 points.
