The boxer, Sarah Achieng will be looking to defend her Commonwealth female lightweight title. The battle will be held on 2nd October this year at Cherter Hall in Nairobi.
The Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) chairman, Mr. Reuben Ndolo has urged Kenyans to rally behind Sarah stating that the board at large is optimistic that Sarah Achieng will mount a successful defence of her belt . During the announcement, Mr. Ndolo applauded betting firm, 22Bet Kenya, who will be official sponsors of the match for choosing to partner with Pro-boxing in Kenya while assuring all stakeholders of co-operation at all times.
Sarah Achieng on her side was thankful to the board's effort and all the stakeholders cor preparations ahead of the match saying she is looking forward to the battle.
