Manchester United and FC Barcelona have a history when it comes to clashing in European competitions. The two giant European clubs have however not met before in UEFA Europa league. The last time the two faced each other was in the champions league.
The two have been drawn together today when the draw for the Europa League knockout stages was being conducted. 
The match has been hyped even more by fans who are several across the world. Despite the match being heavily awaited by fans, Manchester United are at the disadvantage in their first-leg clash. This is because they are set to face the Spanish top club without their key defender, Lisandro Martinez.
The highly-rated center-back will miss the first leg of the mouthwatering clash due to suspension. This is not good news for Manchester United given the impact and solidity the Argentine has brought to the squad. His impressive performances coupled with his attractive mentality makes his absence a big blow for the red devils.
