The entertaining Euro 2020 tournament is finally coming to its climax today with a 'mouth watering' match between England, who have never come any close to winning this competition than now, and Italy, who painfully did not qualify for the last World Cup competition. Worth watching!
However here is a preferable lineup that could easily see Italy claim the hardly fought for trophy using a 4-3-3 formation.
Goalkeeper: Gianluigi Donnarumma. He is with no doubt one of the best shot stoppers in Europe if not in the world and may be crowned the golden glove award, depending on the finals match performance.
Defenders: Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Di Lorenzo, Rafael Toloi. The aging Bonucci and Chiellini have made a solid partnership in the central defense over their play time in Italy and Juventus, this game will not be an exceptional. Napoli's Giovanni Di Lorenzo is a perfect pressing power along the wing back while Toloi is set to come in for the injured Spinazola.
Miedfield: Jorginho, Nicolo Barella and Manuel Locatelli. The three will create a compact midfield that will be disastrous to England's counter attacks. Locatelli and Barella are more strong when playing together while Jorginho will bring balance and confidence.
Forward: Federico Chiesa, Ciro Immobile, Lorenzo Insigne. The fantastic performance of the trio have so far created a threat to the opponents backline and more maybe witnessed today. The goal hunting spirit of the duo (Insigne and Immobile) with sharp Chiesa's dribbles will build a strong forward for the Italian team.
