VIDEO: Long Term Arsenal Absentee Confirms He Will Resume Full Training On Sunday

The English Premier League may be in a world cup induced break but the good news have not stopped flowing for the early leaders Arsenal.

The Gunners sit pretty at the top of the log with 37 points, five ahead of defending champions and second placed Manchester City and also topped their Europa League group.

All these was done without their non-penalty top scorer for last season Emile Smith Rowe. The Arsenal #10 has been out with a groin injury since September and has not played a minute since.

However, the midfielder did offer fans hope of a return with the news that he will resume training in the next few days. The young English midfielder scored ten goals in the league last season and will be a very able addition for Mikel Arteta's side once the premier League resumes on Boxing day.

Speaking during the team's warm weather camp in Dubai for players not selected for the World Cup. Smith Rowe confirmed he is getting back to full fitness and will start training tomorrow.

'“I am actually out here doing my rehab. Today was my day off. I am back training tomorrow. I am back on the pitch. So it’s going well,” he said.

Arsenal resume their league campaign on the 26th of December with a London derby against Westham.
