Friendly Fire as Duke Abuya's side Nkana FC Wins against Jesse Were's Zesco United in Zambian League

Duke Abuya's Nkana FC hosted Jesse Were's Zesco United in the Zambian Super League today, as from 4 PM.

The teammates at Harambee Stars had to battle each other in the Zambian League with Nkana FC overpowering the defending champions, Zesco United.

Nkana FC took the lead in the 19th minute courtesy of Zambian Jakob Ngulube's header following Sanjase's failure to clear the attack.

Kenyan Jesse Were was replaced by Tafadzawa in the 70th minute of the match as Zesco United was pushing to level the scores.

Nkana made a substitution with Kenyan Duke Abuya coming in for Diamond Chimwemwe. This substitution was meant to boost the striking and hunt of more goals.

However, Zesco United first goalkeeper Ian Otieno missed his third consecutive club match. The goalkeeper played the first half of the first leg match between Harambee Stars and Mali; missing the second leg in Nairobi.

These results will have Nkana move to the 5th spot with 10 points, a point ahead of Zesco United who are 7th on the log.
