Manchester United started their Champions League campaign with a shock 2-1 loss to Swiss Champions Young Boys. United were expected to win the game but a red card to defender Aaron Wan Bissaka made things difficult for the Red Devils as the went on to concede two goals in the second half to lose the match.
The loss means United are bottom of the group comprising of Atalanta and Villarreal. And as United prepare to face Villarreal tonight, UEFA have given them more bad news which will likely affect their chances of qualification from the group stages.
Earlier today UEFA have revealed that Wan Bissaka will be suspended for a further one match for dangerous play in the game. Bissaka's red card meant that he was to miss only one match. However, UEFA disciplinary body has decided to extend the suspension for one more match meaning Bissaka will miss the game against Villarreal and Atalanta.
This will likely affect the Red Devils chances of qualification. Do you think they will make it out of the group stages?
