Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri has reportedly handed in his resignation letter to Chelsea amid interest from a number Italian giants. This is according to sources close to Stamford Bridge, which claims that the Blues have received a request from Emerson asking to leave. With many years still ahead of him, it’s understandable that the 27-year old would like a change of scenery. Some of the top Italy Giants planning a summer raid for the star are Napoli, Juventus, Inter Milan and AS Roma.
A move back to Italy where it started seems the most likely destination for him where there are no shortage of suitors waiting for him. His decision comes barely after Chelsea head coach Thomach Tuchel referred him as a perfect example for Chelsea, this was during a press conference after Chelsea's victory.
Emerson is fresh from winning the European Championships with Italy and helping Chelsea to revive their League victory triumph. During his time at Stamford Bridge, he helped Chelsea secure many victories.
