Manchester city have set a deadline on acquiring the services of Napoli defender Koulibaly as on 25th september. The club have been in talks with Napoli over the signing of the defender for a while now with there being a price deviation from Man city's offer and what Aurello De Laurentiis wants.
Koulibaly's agent Fali Ramadani will travel to Italy next week to hold talks with Laurentiis to see if they can reach an agreement. Ramadani is the one who is negotiating between the two clubs as Man city are refusing to negotiate directly with club because of the Jorginho transfer where the player ended up in chelsea.
If Laurentiis does not accept the request to reduce the transfer fee, then Ramadan will discuss contract extension for his client including a pay rise. Man city will then look to Jose Gimenez and Diego Carlos as their agents have said that their players are available.
