According to reports, Chelsea have identified 29-year-old, Gerald Moreno as a transfer alternative for Haaland.The 29-year-old La Liga striker shined for Villarreal during the last campaign having enjoyed the regular first team start. Moreno helped Villarreal to win their first ever Europa League title against Manchester United.
Chelsea FC however, have been linked with a move to strengthen their squad and Erling Haaland is known to be a prime target for the London giants although they may be priced out on a deal for the 20-year-old Norwegian striker due to the massive £150m price tag Borussia Dortmund management want for their excellent striker.
Gerard Moreno's amazing performance during the last campaign sawed him 30 goals in the 46 appearances.
