The Record That Only Marcus Rashford Holds In Man United's History

Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani were all substitutes when Manchester United played against West Ham United in the premier league clash.

They came in in the late second half and changed the game as they all participated to set up the goal that earned Man United three important points.

After scoring, England striker Marcus Rashford entered the book of records in which he is the only player in Man United's football history to have scored more 90th minute winners. He did it in the following games:

2016 vs HULL CITY, 90+2

He was 18 years old and it was his first appearance of the season. He came in as a substitute and steered Wayne Rooney's cross to spark wild celebrations.

He scored the only goal of the match in 90+2 minutes to overhaul stubborn Hull City at KCOM Stadium.

2018 vs BOURNEMOUTH, 90+4

Callum Wilson had put Bournemouth ahead in 11th minute before Anthony Martial equalising in 35 minutes of the game by converting Alexis Sanchez's cutback to the back of the net.

Rashford then scored an injury-time winner as he latched on Paul Pogba's cross in 94th minute to give Man United three points at Vitality Stadium.

2020 vs WOLVES, 90+4

The game seemed to be a draw and some Manchester United fans had started leaving the pitch in the added extra time.

However, Marcus Rashford took possession from a long pass by Bruno Fernandes on the edge of the area near the penalty box and stunned a left-footed shot that deflected Roman Saiss to leave Rui Patricio completely fooled.

2022 vs WEST HAM UNITED, 90+2

It was also predicted to be a draw before Ralf Rangnick decided to play with four attackers by introducing Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani in the second half.

And by coincidence, all the four strikers participated in goal set up which originated from Alex Telles to Ronaldo, Martial then to Cavani who crossed in a fine pass to Marcus Rashford, who didn't hesitate to tap in the net.
