BREAKING: Ed Woodward Steps Down As Manchester United Vice Chairman

Breaking news reaching our desks are that Ed Woodward has stepped down as the Manchester United vice chairman.

Sky Sports now understands that Woodward may have taken this drastic decision following the crumbling of his plan with other 11 owners of establishing the European Super League.

The plan appeared to have crumbled this evening following the sudden withdrawal of Chelsea, Manchester City, Atletico Madrid and Manchester United themselves from the league.

Having been on the fore front alongside the glazers family, Woodward is said to have been ashamed of this failure which then resulted in him leaving the club.

This comes as a huge relief to Man United fans who have been against the owners of the club with the latest Super League proposal a proof of how they don't care about the fans.

The Super League project now faces a huge failure as teams are expected to keep pulling out in the coming few hours ending what has been a few days of madness all over the world as far as football is concerned.
