While speaking at talkSPORT, former England and Leeds United defender Danny Mills raised his concern questioning the Brighton and Hove Albion central defender Ben White about his decision to join the Gunners on a £50 million deal, stating the the 23 year old will win nothing but only League Cup or FA cup at the club.
Mills describes Ben White as an exceptional player and a fantastic signing for Arsenal this summer but he feels he is too good for Arsenal as per his qualities and he prefers he could have joined Manchester United who are currently in the market looking for a central defender.
White is currently on holiday in Greece after representing his national team England in the Euro competition and he is expected to undergo medical with Arsenal in a few days to come which will see him signing a five year contract deal with the north London based club.
Mikel Arteta and Arsenal technical director Edu Gasper are both huge fans of the star and they believe in him to be the perfect option of strengthening the backline due to his experience in the English football.
