After failing to qualify for any European competition last season, Arsenal's main objective next season is to try and qualify for the Champions League and even vie for trophies.
For that to happen, the Gunners will have to hugely renovate their current squad by signing players and also selling and loaning some other players.
The North London side has been linked with several high-profile players this summer including Brighton and England's defender Ben White.
Arsenal today have completed the loaning of their young defender William Saliba to Olympique Marseille. The young defender has never been used by Mikel Arteta since being signed by Arsenal from St. Etienne.
William Saliba was signed by Arsenal in 2019 but stayed in St. Etienne for a season-long loan before coming back to Arsenal. He was then loaned to Nice where he stayed until last season.
Saliba will wear the number 2 jersey for the French side.
